This is my 1st time owning a Kawi so I have a few quick ?'s answered please. It's a race bike but I'm going to buy a street tail section and seat but I just want to know what years will fit. I have an 04.

I did notice though that the 05-06 tail section has a different tail light than the 03-04. Can I buy an 05-06 tail with an 05-06 tail light? And if I do buy an 05-06 tail w/ tail light will that plug right into my 04 harness or are they different? I ask b/c I just don't really feel like splicing wires to make it work.

I mean with a little bit of zip ties anything will work but as far as your light how many connectors does it have i have an 05 and ill see if it will work.

Taillight plugs are different

The only tail that's going to bolt up without modification is the 03-04 zx-636 and zx6rr (600cc race version of the 636)
