I'm right by Norridge. Des Plaines is close as hell. I'll have to look it up. Thanks for the info.

Sounds like a good deal, but i'm looking for a 600. r1 would be hard core to stunt for a begginer lol. Thanks for looking though.

Can he write me a bill of sale if theres no vin#? Thanks
oh and I'm gonna use is as a lot bike. no streets.
is the price 1500 or better? it should be without a vin.

in this situation, dont worry about why it doesny have a vin. just the fact that it doesnt have one now means it will never be street legal, or even lot legal to any cop.

Re: 600rr no vin question

i bought a bike with a FACTORY REPLACEMENT FRAME and they do not have vin numbers. i took it to inspection and got an AZ assigned vin and registered it without problems. Make sure the vin was not scratched off though.

Yea I wish I could find any for that price Peeps on craigslist ask $4000-5000 for an 01-02 f4i WTF they stupid or what. KBB value is $3800 and that is for a minty one from a dealer, including their costs, commision and it says still negotiable. I'll have to keep looking. Theres one f4i with clean title for $3000, but no fairing, no gauges, no headlights. Thats a bit too much i guess.
