Re: Does your stunt bike have a gauge cluster?

YES

I honestly think 75% of 'stunter's that blow their motor, simply blow it because they don't know they are overheating or don't have oil pressure.

I MUST run my gauges stunting so I know when I have pressure, or when I'm overheating.

But also unlike most trailer queens, I ride my bike TO the spot. And when I'm on 2 wheels, I do the speed limit.

+1

I always run into people that say "why do I need to know my rpms?"
well obvious.... Your bike WONT run the same at 5k idle as it will at 2.5k idle.. I like being consistent, I like knowing I do circles at 3200. Running 4k idle or 2.5k idle would hinder my performance. Running hte same 3.2k will help me.

Your gauges are your basic diagnostic system. Would you drive your car without gauges? Then why the **** would you ride a motorcycle that could HURT YOU if your motor locks up randomly? Makes no sens

+1 another thing

literally 2 days after I QUIT running gauges for my first time... I ran out of gas!
Lucky I wasn't in a wheelie, and I was only about 2 blocks from a gas station.
