FTI New 4 Piston Adaptor

Thats right i got the first adaptor for the 05-06 6oorr. The bracket goes onto the stock bracket and gives all you single caliper users the opportunity to put a 4 piston caliper on your bike.

So it mounts real easy on the bike, i did have to grind just a bit of the bottom of the caliper so it wouldnt rub onto the rim but no big deal. If you are using any handbrake adaptors i recommend this piece here asap. It makes such a difference. Heres a pic i took with my Cell phone, its not the best but bare with me it was real dark.

OH AND THE REAL BANG OF THIS PRODUCT IS THE PRICE!!!!

You can order this from Bill as of right now for only $65 bucks. Get yours and you will not be disappointed.

Re: FTI New 4 Piston Adaptor

i rode with it for about 30 min to an hour and loved every minute of it. Braking was sensitive but nothing you cant get use to. I mean a perfect example is like when everyone started rocking the 16x18 and thought that **** was just to much and now its the ****. I got use to it in just the lil bit of time i rode so im sure anyone who buys it will do the same. Its worth every penny in every way. Ill give more feedback mid week after i get some more time on it.

Re: FTI New 4 Piston Adaptor

I bought the dual quad set up but am only using on caliper with an adaptor right now. It's not too sensitive. I'm running a 636 handbreak and I was able to lock up my brake with my middle finger. I'm happy with it. If I would have known he was making brake adaptors (vs the bracket) I would have probably waited vcause it would have saved me some money...

Re: FTI New 4 Piston Adaptor

The idea behind this is that you don't need a dual caliper setup because the 4 piston is strong enough?

Re: FTI New 4 Piston Adaptor

I think so. The 4 piston is plenty strong IMO.

No. With a dual caliper setup each caliper is independent of each other (some people do chain them together, but not most).

It's just stronger than a single piston rear caliper.

Re: FTI New 4 Piston Adaptor

When i ran an adaptor for a single caliper handbrake setup I lost braking power in the foot brake. I thought it was air in the brake line until I put a 4 piston and notice a difference right away both in the handbrake and foot. braking power has been restored and better than it ever was.
