does anyone know if you can use other years for the install of a 600rr swingarm on a f4i , all I can come up with is that the 03/04 swingarm works

the 03/04 600rr swingarm swap is what I did on an f4i

the 05 swingarm will work but you have to machine some extra spacers to make the smaller f4i axle work with the larger opening in the 05 swingarm and it has different chain tensioners.

It's a lot easier and less headache to go with 03/04

thanks . I put a 05 swingarm on my o3 600rr no problem. Know I plan on putting the 05 rr swingarm on my f4i so I can use the new FTI dual 4piston caliper. hate to buy this bracket and not being able to use it

dont forget to use the 1krr shock with the swap to the f4i, im sure knew that though....

you DONT need a 1k shock...just flip the 600rr on so it faces the other way it works fine.....i used a 1k shock but after i did mine my buddy did his and thats what he did.....

what advantage does the rr swingarm offer? other than the dual 4-piston bracket that skillz mentioned

the rr swing arm is like n inch maybe little more longer....i did it for the look

i used 929 tripple up and down...top fit great but i had to use spacers on the bottom tripple because the bottom of the forks were a lil to skinny

yea all you need its all the linkage of the rr and you will need to buy a bolt i believe for a portion of the swing arm linkage...but yea 03 06 are all good to put on the f4i
