Re: blown fork seal

just weld the fork tube to the cyl rod that will save you seals.

+1 they will last (mine are leaking, **** they are prob almost out of fluid) just wrap a bandanna around the bottom of the fork and keep at it, get new seals later (not too long tho)

Re: blown fork seal

My buddy's 03 R6 blew the seals, oil sprayed all over his ****, windscreen and all from coming down from wheelies too hard... Just get them fixed and don't slam the bike down so hard.....

Re: blown fork seal

how many miles are on your bike

worn bushings, bent fork tubes, knicks in fork tubes, and dirt are what blow seals

If your bike has much over 10k, it's probably time for all new bushings

knock on wood

My bike at about 16-18k miles the fork bushings were completely worn when I did my fork seals the first time

This time I replaced the bushings like I should have the first time, and so far so good..
