DB bars - clip ons?

why DB bars? i tried them and hated them. i hate how upright i sat on my bike and how whoolies felt. but are they really that much better? and why aftermarket clip ons? what makes them so much better than stock.

Re: DB bars - clip ons?

After market clip ons are most likely longer and have a better shape

Personally I stick to DB bars, but i came from Motocross and hate skinny clip ons

Re: DB bars - clip ons?

what about switching to clip ons from db bars? anyone done it? how did they like it? and did it make the bike harder to ride?

You really have to give the DB Bars a couple weeks to get used to them, once you are, they're a blast!

Re: DB bars - clip ons?

I was just thinking about this question last night... All my buddys rock DB bars as did i when i first started. One day we were all at the gas station by the spot and some guy walks over and says " wow kick *** Dirt Bike dude". I my self was kinda mad at how stupid this guy was... I guess what im getting at is that i dont want to be confused for something that im not, Nor do i want to have some over fabricated bike to make everything easy for me.

Bandito. The switch isnt that bad. Took about 4-5 hours to get used to it then it was fine. They were turned out and the upper was trimmed though. Id say go for it. If you dont like it just change it back.

i tried a few as well and DB is where its at for me.

its pref though really, what works for you and is most comfortable.

i have a **** right wrist so having turned clipons that my body weight is resting on kills me.

with the DB's it doesnt effect me and my wrist is straight as possible.

also alot less forarm pump for me and i feal like i have more control on the bike for circles and stuff.

i tried to use clipons and im all over the place, but then again im not that good,

FF does look clean!

You could always do HoHey triple with 0 degree clip-ons so the clip-ons are on top of triple?? Def. costs some coin though.

Or

0 Degree Clip-Ons with Risers

I look forward to my DB bars.
