Re: GSXR dirtbar conversion

Throttle cables - have them point down, then point the elbows towards the fork tube. then turn and go under the tank from there, instead of going around the front of the fork.

Clutch cable - get one thats a good deal longer than stock. you want it to go around the front of everything without any tension. Cant have any bends at all.

Front Brake lines - get longer lines. Its bad to try to stretch the stock ****.

HB - run the line below the top triple clamp on the right side. then along the right side of the frame.

Headlights - hook your light up to the high beam circuit. dont hook anything to the low beam since its probably on all the time.

Blinkers - are for cars

Re: GSXR dirtbar conversion

run the cables and wiring outside of the forks and not in between the forks and frame

Re: GSXR dirtbar conversion

i didnt have to change any cables at all, except for brake lines which i was going to do anyway. i think i routed the cables over the frame instead of under(if i remember right) i put a spacer between tank bolts so the tank wasnt pinching the cables and everything worked fine.
