Re: Moose Easy Pull System

Do a search and do NOT use one. The cables fray and they break and could be dangerous. i had 2 cables break on me and luckily it was when I was 100% squid and on both wheels. Coulda been bad had it happen on one Get an ez pull lever and do the clutch arm mod. Search for the clutch arm mod on here.

hmm i deff would not want it to break. thats dangerous for sure. i had the clutch lever with the lever mod on my 636 it was alright. but im wondering if this will make it like butter . or if its a waste of time and money to buy

you have the lever or the box he posted the link for? i didnt know msr made the inline pulley system like moose did. and yeah when i had mine i loved it too until it snapped for the 2nd time. as my wheelies got better i realized i dont wanna take the chance of that happening mid wheelie/coaster/whatever. not worth the risk when you can do the clutch arm mod paired with an ez pull lever for the same effect BUT completely safe

thats what i meant with msr not makin the pulley system thing. i run the msr with a bolted-on longer arm and its pretty easy but im thinkin of goin longer on the arm

Re: Moose Easy Pull System

thanks for your opinions guys. not sure if i can do the clutch arm on my r6. i did it on my 04 636 made a bit of a difference not a whole lot. i think that i just needed a new clutch cable with that bike. who knows i might need a new one with this bike as well. but yeah i got the moose easy pull perch and lever ordered hopefully it will make a difference from this random msr dirtbike one thats on it now.

Re: Moose Easy Pull System

i have the msr ezpull lever on my r6 and its butter i do have a pully system sitting around just havent tried it yet im thinking about it tho. the msr ez pull lerch and lever are the way to go if you have the roomn around your hand brake master cylinder i have a brembo master and lever and there is no room.

My boy and I put ours on the same day......they both frayed and broke about 3 months later within a week of each other...

You couldn't PAY me to use one, again.

f4i you cant go to long unless you do the weldless version if youre gonna weld it then i think the max was 8 or 9mm to be able to get the arm past the frame w no problems.
