well I'd say the spacer would be on the side that looks like it would need it when mocking it up and the spacer would be used where the top motor mounts are, well on one of them at least

It is a spacer why would it go inside the tubeing? Spacer goes on the left side of the bike, all thread goes on the back of the cage, the 2 bolts go in the top right and left... the nut is for the bolt with diff thread???? I think I had to get new nuts cause they sent me the wrong bolts so i dont know that part for a fact Its easy to figure out.... just set it up there and look at it for a bit..
