Best phone for Stuntlife?

About to get a new smart phone with AT&T.

I want to get somethin that will be good enough that I can keep up with the pms and all I get on here but also just want to be able to browse the site like i do at my PC to watch videos etc. I just don't have enough time to sit at the computer.

Ive messed around a little with my wife's Blackberry and it ain't bad but still lacking a little. She also has the ipod touch (like the iphone) wich is cool but I'm not too big a fan of touch screen phones because of my line of work I'm pretty rough on a phone.

Any suggestions???

Oh, and I need something I can text with one hand too.....

You like them?

I had the old UTC Starcom (same company) with the Windows system.
I tried the HTC Diamond out that a freind has but it was slow to me compared to the iphone. Plus, kind of a bitch to text on unless you use both hands.

I guess I should've added I'm not fond of texting on a touch screen.

I like what I see of the new Motorola EVOKE coming out but haven't seen it in person.

Its touch screen with a slider phone kepad for old schoolers like me.

Re: Best phone for Stuntlife?

i hate motorola phones. i used to have a samsung blackjack a few years ago and it worked pretty well for stuntlife but videos didnt work though. i switched to sprint so i could have a good plan but i wanted an iphone bad. they are the ****. and i think theres a new version coming out soon. you just gotta get the clear shell case. i have one for my ipod touch and it does a good job of keeping it from getting busted up.

Re: Best phone for Stuntlife?

iphone with an otterbox defender case and your set. With the otterbox case, i put my iphone in my pocket all day long no problem and I work on 15kV Substations/138kV Transformers indoors and outdoors. Its nice surfing the net out in the field when I'm bored as ****.

Oh yea, iphone free software ugrade 3.0 is dropping this june/july. Updates include sideways touch keyboard for all apps including text, mms, cut copy paste, wireless stereo bluetooth, etc etc......

Re: Best phone for Stuntlife?

I have a Iphone and that phone is the ****. Im a big guy and have fat fingers so dont worry about that, and in june they are coming out with a update that will let you turn your phone on the side and text that way spreading the key pad out more. I would go with the Iphone.

My iphone wasnt any better. but then again, EVERY phone I have, the battery doesnt last that long.

The iphone was cool but there were things I didnt like about it. Can't copy and paste, forward messages, texting sucked (touch screen was slow), froze a LOT and a couple other things I can't think of right now.

I got the G1 right now and like it a lot more. Has plenty of free apps and does all those things I just named that the iphone didn't do.

Ah yes! that was the other major feature that the iphone lacked and I hated.

Good thing my G1 does it! haha
