funny everyone i know who went hates it and regrets it

 

+1... I worked at a HD stealership for 12 years and watch alot of
MMI Grads come and Go quick... Under paid and a **** load of $$$ loans...

 

yup i went to wyotech for 6 days and quit best choice i ever made with my life saved myself 40k

i went to a vocational high school and spent 4 years every other week turning wrenches, worked in gm dealerships 5 years and threw in the towel.

the industry sucks the only way to be productive is to constantly keep moving from dealer to dealer because they just use you. when i first started i was making 12 bucks a hour while the shop rate at the caddy dealer was 129.99 a hour . . .

when a dealer of any sorts sees a bright eye bushy tailed kid fresh out of school they just smile cuz they know there naive and that there gunna make money on them.


from my experiences you'd be better off finding a busy dealer and working in parts then you would turning wrenches

so I just wrote the person back about my car, heres what I wrote.... "Here are the pictures you requested, as you can tell the motor will go right into the car with no problems at all. I believe the hood is already un-bolted.


I attached the ABOVE pictures of the clapped out turd along with a picture of my motor.

forget auto industry, i been turning wrenches for 3 years and curently workin in a delarship, money is ok at best, went to wyotech, spent mad loot, learned an ok amount, im a great welder now, if that counts for anything, get into something else unless u never plan to retire, the bike scene is even slower unless ur doing something crazy at a custom or stunt shop and thats a fat chance, look to the real side of ****, go sit back behind a desk and get ur high school diploma first or ged

 

being a mechanic is hard work..i am taking auto and hate it..

goto school its worth it... it gives you a good knowledge of the fundamentals and theory that working in a shop cant always provide. everyone accels in one area in a shop, and you tend to get designated into that one area of expertise and learn nothing about the other areas, i've seen it happen a milllion times. its hard work and you gotto expect that your gonna start off making sheer **** and come to terms with that.

speaking on experience, i'm in the auto field.... have been with Ford for 3 years now, and was previously with Toyota for 6. the only reason i switched was cuz i moved. i was the only 24 year old A tech i knew, but it took alot of long hours bustin my own ***, and kissin others asses, and sitting through bullshit manufacturer training... its a dog eat dog world being a tech and you gotto stand out amongst all the other dipshit grease monkeys 2 get anywhere.

just for the records you can make very decent money bein a tech if you apply yourself... and if your doin it and hate it get the **** out of it and stop bitching you white collar pussies... go be an accountant, get fat at a desk, and have a heart attack at 30...

 

A last resort is military bro. but think you will never ever have to pay for school and when you get out you can collect 1500 dollars bah every month for 3 years as long as your enrolled in college. not a bad rap and by the time your out you will be what 22 or 23. but i forewarn you the military sucks and it will make you realize wow i should have goine to college!!!!

 

I made $422.43 today in the stock market, last night I bought FITB at $7.00/share, sold it at 11:32:45AM today at $7.50/share and I bought NSIT at $6.55 and dumped it at $6.90 at 12:11:48am. I got scared, I thought it was gonna go lower but it ended up going up to $7.56/share. oh well, I made some coin with not much put up. moral of the story.... **** MMI! **** WYOTECH! Tomorrow I think I may trade DDRX its looking good to me for some reason. If I make a quick $100.00 in 1-2 hours that brightens my day.
