dunlop sportmax gp front tire???

i have one of these dunlop sportmax gp tires that is brand new and i'm thinking about trying it over a mich pilot power race....has anybody tried one of these yet? my main concern is if it hooks up well on sealed black top surfaces more than anything...

i didnt like it on my zx10, it slid out all the time, but that was the stock tire. im not sure if you mean the regular sportmax or the more expensive one.

i would say any gp tire would work better than a regular street tire, but personally never tried it..

Re: dunlop sportmax gp front tire???

i had a gp rear and it felt real greasy like every dunlop ive ever had. it was good once it was real hot but id say the pilot would be alot better up front.

Those tires are sick! Michelin pilot power one? We just put a set on a friends bike, they are soooo soft! Your nail can dig into the tire like a soft race tire. Then my other friend had the race ones for his track day bike, they were rediculously soft!!!

Front could be good..no way on the Rear!! Unless you didnt want to do burnouts!!!
