ok so my bike is SF and i always just had the wires of the main harness just sitting there. today i took the take off and cleaned up the bike. and all the wired of the harness that didn't go to anything i cut off and half way thru cutting them of the throttle bodies did their check (like when you turn the key) so i kinda **** myself. i turned the key and it still worked, ok cool no big deal. i put the bike back together and now when i hit the start button nothing happens. i checked the fuses, double check connections and it won't work. i don't get it nothing was connected that i cut off? please i gotta get this started i wanna do whoolies

dude ur sick first of all you plug off stuff you dont cut go back and connect every thing and pull them while the bike idles

Its trial and error... Dont be so hard on yourself its part of the game best way to learn is by mistakes You will always remember this If it helps you feel anybetter i almost fucked up my whole subframe puting on a round bar cause i was in a hurry

 

haha, i rather take the whole bike apart and put it back together then **** with wires. i don't get it, nothing went to anything. i did realize tho that i don't think the fuel pump is turning on . it was all the wires for the speedo, headlight, and signals. i just don't get it

the throttle bodies work, but i don't hear the fuel pump. now i have 4 million wires hanging and now i gotta play connect the wires. i think the bottle of captian will be empty before midnight

 

found the relay to the pump, now i need the ignition

I got one. everything works but the ignition button. everything turns on and makes all those noises. i guess tomm i'll be doing alot of soldering
