I've tried 'em and I never really throw down much hate on 'em......they work.

They're just UGLY! I guess it doesn't really matter on a SF, but I can't stand 'em on FF bikes!

Ahhh.....yes. I guess I figured you'ld get 'em for wholesale, but even then probably still spendy. A lot morso than a set of bars you already have, atleast!

money and effort is pretty much the main reason why i still have flipped clip-ons on my 636. im so ****** lazy when it comes to workin on my bike. that and i would like to go back to FF one day. i do love some dirt bars though. specially for stoppies. i also raced MX for 8 yrs so they just feel like home to me.

Re: Dirtbike bar confusion...??

i like mine as low to the triple as possible and as straight as possible. and then i turn them forward a little to be more forward away from the seat (im tall). i have pastrana bend protaper fatbars right now and they feel good. a 636 with flipped clip ons straight out feel good too except for that they point up slightly. but they feel a lot better than stock.

is they are really low taperd then you wont need to extend it, it should be just long enough and youll have a lil extra slack
