Talking Build my bike

What’s good SL? While searching for parts I found this place and got an ingenious idea.

Your jobs are to build my stock into a badass stunter

I just bought an 02 600f4i, completely stock

I have $2k to spend

Catch - must remain street legal/ridable

So what ya say? Help me out?

Maybe I should make this into a poll

TIA

in missouri for street legal, you need high beam and low beam lights a high beam indicator, electronic speedo, rear and front brake light, kill switch.

the rest of it go crazy with.... if you wanna still bea able to tear down the highway don't go to crazy on sprockets. if your wanting to stunt def. pick you up a cage, stabilizer is always good, rear hand brake, and either mod your clutch arm or buy a shorty clutch... or do both i guess if you can.

Re: Build my bike

More than $2000 but this is how I would build it if it were mine.

Hohey dual caliper bracket

Hohet top clamp with flipped 636 clip-on's

16x18 brembo

moose easy pull

FI cage

wood craft rear sets

SI round bar

SI sub cage

ohlin's damper

complete 954 front end

ss lines

racing 905 fairing stay (keep it ff)

vortex gas cap

60 t 520 sproket set

That is how I used to build mine. Good parts make all the difference

i know the legal stuff. im asken what are the best products for cage, stabalizer, brake etc. it needs to be on street 1. i need it for work 2. i dont have a lot i can sit at for more than 15 minutes 3. we mostly ride streets.

but i dont care bout going 100mph+ either. lol id rather be grounded to like 80 or somthin. not being able to go fast will help me out in the long run. plus i got my gixx for that.

Re: Build my bike

Just start off with a sick innovations cage

Throw on a sprocket kit like -1/+8

And a 12 bar that reinforces your sub frame
Sick innovations will hook you up with some good ****

FI cage go with sick innovations for a crash cage

wood craft rear sets the stockers are fine just cut the pegs down so they dont hit the ground

SI round bar

SI sub cage get an omr subcage ok im bias

ohlin's damper dont need it till you start doing fast stoppies

complete 954 front end this can wait

ss lines

racing 905 fairing stay (keep it ff)

vortex gas cap there are cheaper copies on ebay that work just as good

60 t 520 sproket set

That is how I used to build mine. Good parts make all the difference

Re: Build my bike

i see we're overlooking the obvious point that he is new and as such wont need a handbrake for a while.

For a new stunter:

Cage: Tygershark or SI - $250
Subcage: OMR --------- $175
aftermarket clipons ----- $125
-1 +3 sprockets -------- $100
msr ez pull clutch lever -- $50

and thats it. other mods would be kind of pointless unless youre already good

What is a clutch arm mod?
well an fi cage is no where near as tough as an si and the rearsets arent as tough as the ho heys ,the omr subcage has lots of advantages over the si, moose easy pulls break too easy and the 929 forks have more travel then the 954 if i remember correctly but besides that ya

and the clutch arm mod is just making the clutch release lever a little longer to make the clutch pull easier

i paid $3k for her. i was lookin for a setup, but i couldnt find one that wasnt on its last leg, titled, street legal. and then i thought the best set up would be my set up.

i whoolie like a fat kid eats cake. just gettin into that slower technical stuff.

you will probably have to turn the brightness up on your monitor to see this picture but all i did was cut he clutch release lever in half then i added about 5/8 of an inch to it , the f4i needs to be a little shorter , i think 10mm is the most you can add to the f4i..
