So I went and met with a kid tonight that has an 01 F4i and wants to trade for my GSXR straight across.... Probably gonna do it tomorrow

I have a quick question though.. Its got an F4 frame, with F4i cosmetics and motor.... Will I be able to put an f4i front end on it or does it have to be the f4?

if your swapping out front end's jesse, just go ahead and put a 929/954 front end.... help out on stoppies... or so i've heard.

f4i will work anything with f4 but not gas tank some misc small stuffs.

 

do you think youre squidsauce will wear off if you go to an f4i???hope it works out for you...those 01-03 gixxers are ******* HOT GARBAGE!!!!!trust me,i learned on one

I hope this f4i will magically take my "squidsauce" away.. LOL and yeah, I know, I learned on one too.. It was cool before, cause I was just learning basic idle tricks, but I need to step up my game now and I can't do that on a gixxer...

The only thing that f4i wont work with f4 is gas tank , some wiring harness ( ecu ) and throttle cable tube and some more that i might forget anyway f4i gas tank has fuel pump in it , f4 doesnt come with it but seperate way if im not mistaken.

get an 929/954 upper and lower triple trees that will work with most of 48-50 mm forks like 929 , 954 r1 , 600rr , 1000rr and much more. I cant think of anything clearly at this moment cuz im smoking purple haze lol.

 

good job man, sounds like a wise move. the 01-03 gsxrs have frame troubles, although not as bad as the newer gsxrs, and they are old and bulky looking IMO

 

If I put a 954/929 Front end on it, I wont be able to put the f4i fairings on it right? I don't like street fighter, I wanna be able to put the plastics on....

yeah you my mate runs a 954 front end and he is still running F4i full fairing
