powers is lil eh but i would deff choose powers over FI anyday!

 

FI or Powers is complete ******* garbage on a 05-06 And I mean COMPLETE ******* dumpsterness

 

I had the FI cage on my 05 06 636 and loved it!

I think the FI issue is from lack of maintence, everyone loves to ride but not maintain there equipment,(including myself) but if you keep the sliders tight and change the all thread when its bent, the hoop will NEVER touch the stator! Ive stalled some HC's and high sided some drifts and my cage has always held up!
I bet if everyone goes out and checks thier cage 90% will be loose. Tighten up Ninja's!

ps: T neck your the only one left with love for Powers.

 

One thing you can always count on from F.I is that you'll get your order in a timely fashion

 

yours only hits cause you have to have it lowered 3 inches to touch

and until something happens to sway me otherwise, there my love will stay! thats the problem with kids now adays. NO LOYALTY!

 

Bubash, I know your kidding right? My FI cage hit EVERY time I was drifting causing a lowside on occasion. When FF it would roll on the upper & the tail section would hit too. No disrespect, just saying.
T-Neck, I think powers is ok if your already a well balanced rider. If your a squid that's slamming your bike 24/7 then its bye bye bye.(Like nsync)

Bottom line though is, all cages have their limits. All can break, especially if not maintained correctly. I check all my cage bolts after any kind of serious drop or before I ride.
This ends my cage rant.

i almost lost an entire morot mount bolt b/c id didnt check after a hard fall

 

i had a powers on my old 03-04 636 and the cage outlasted the motorcycles frame. Go with what u can get quicker which would definitly be SI.

 

i just type cuz FI i dropped my bike once at the lot the 1st time since i put the cage on and the weld broke and bar slammed into my stator cracked that bitch open haha but they did replace the cage not the stator tho hrmmm so never again will i use FI the end!! but thats my 2cents!

 

um did u not read that hes getting the powers one from his buddy so he can have it whenever he wants
