Yeah I know about Bigr508 but its not a STOCK f4i front end. Only 1 bolt on the lower triple f4i.

Re: Gsxr damper mod on stock f4i frontend

I wonder if I can use a cut clip on instead of a top tripple?

Its sweet but I think imma up the weight to 20? I want it a little stiffer. Doesnt get in the way of anything.

Hey Talen, I was wondering if you can still use your key ignition or did you do a mod for that as well?

Also wondering if I could mount it under the front fairing bracket at the bottom instead of top so it's not in the way of my wires and ****.

The damper itself is only held on with one bolt

And your setup only uses one bolt

Re: Gsxr damper mod on stock f4i frontend

I got mine mounted lower ,just under my acerbis headlight. I like 40wt oil,but IMO 20 is perfect for wheelies/O's and 50wt for stoppies. So I comprimise at 40

Re: Gsxr damper mod on stock f4i frontend

these things are dangerous if you put to thick of fluid in them, i was full counter steered for some reason in circles and had to set it down but couldnt turn the bars back in time, freaked out when the tire hit the ground and almost ran into a wall hahahaha. rather spend money on an adjustable damper then deal with taking it on and off.
