SI round bar too short

Who on here is using a SI round bar? And is it too short? By this I mean, are your 12 o'clocks 1:30's? My round bar is definetly not the right size. Let me know if I'm the only one with this problem or if this is common. They're not supposed to be like that are they? I can't imagine why they'd make them shorter than a flat bar. I dunno. Give me some feedback.

Re: SI round bar too short

they're supposed to be flush with the rear of the tail i think, not out there like a flat bar.

Re: SI round bar too short

Flush with tail is perfect, I would actually like mine a little shorter and it's pretty much flush with the tail.

Re: SI round bar too short

On my 07zx it is on the shorter side. Back the tire up against a wall and the round bar has room between it and the wall.

either way lol however you wanna look at it
numberwise yea 1030 is shorter/smaller than 1200
technically if the bike goes passed 12 than think about it
130 is after/passed 12

You got it twisted. 1030 would mean the bar is too long and 130 would mean the bar is really short. When youre riding on 2 wheels your at 9. 12 is straight up and down. Past 12 would be 1+.

Thats not even 12. 12 would be straight up and down - 1 wheel over the other.

+1 that picture is just as much 12, as a clock at 12:15 or 11:45 is 12..

But before 12 is wack IMO

I just know my bar, about 12:30, the bike wants to 'turn' easy compared to somthing scraping 11:30 or 12

Just my personal experience I guess. I'm talking about scraping with speed not bar tricks (not saying you are)

Also if you think about it, the bar kinda acts like the rudder on a plane, the farther away from the tire, the more it wants to pull the bike straight. I always jack my rear shock up on my bikes anyway for other reasons so that may have some affect to my experiences.

To sheldon:

As long as it ain't too short for you to use comfortably I'd say its a plus. Less chance of hitting it in circles plus the farther back past 12 the cooler it looks anyways

He said it was nuts watching that coz when he'd come back - and he came in HOTTTTT lol - that it'd look very unstable and very scary lol. But when he did land em them ***** was
