Re: tip over sensor on a 03 636

i dont see why your tip over sensor would be malfunctioning from a simple lowside...sure ur kickstand switch isnt damaged or something else?

Re: tip over sensor on a 03 636

the tipover sensor is a little black box under the seat mounted to the subframe in front of the battery tray...but i doubt that is what it is....like the above poster...check the kickstand switch and fuses first...

Re: tip over sensor on a 03 636

fuses are mostly under your seat where the battery is...most are relays though.... not too sure about in-line fuses....id say get a tester and trace the fuel pump wires back until you find the problem where the current stops flowin...

so i take it the lights and stuff are comming on but ur fuel pump is just not priming? look at your kickstand and theres a switch on it, make sure its not damaged and check the wire comming from it and wherever it plugs in. i dont remember where the fuse box is on those bikes but its prob under the seat somewhere or under the tailsection if u remove it. check where youre fuel pump plugs in which i think is also under the seat..

Re: tip over sensor on a 03 636

you can bypass the kickstand switch by just grounding the wires, another thing ive found on mine is that the relaloose during a hit and might cause the pump not to kick on all the relays and fuses are under the seat also if u look down where the gas tank bolts to the subframe u can look at the tip over and see if a wire got pinched that happens to me i cycle the key a few tmes and it will usually want to start

on the kickstand switch wire i would just wire them together right ???

1 on my f4i i have a mini fuse box with like 6 mini fuses....;.
2 does the 636 have something like that or is it single fuse through out the bike .... 3 and if so any one know were it is ....
4 in the tail ?? or under the seat cause i just see relays and 2 fuses ???
