Re: Wtf!!! Ebay dampners!
Probably not very strong, from the pictures it looks pretty thin
Would probably work for a 50, or a dirt bike.. But I wouldn't trust something like that for stunting on a street bike
edit: you'd be better off getting a used gsxr damper and changing the fluid in it

Or even something like this if you wanna go cheap

Re: Wtf!!! Ebay dampners!
i would buy it for 18 bucks and put it on my bike and just crank it up and see how strong it is... if it works it works... they arent very complex things if your just going for that style then get it and try it... im sure you could sell it to a buddy for 10-15 and only lose out on a few bucks... what can u really lose... just dont try crushin a 1000 foot stoppie or hit the track till you make sure its good

Re: Wtf!!! Ebay dampners!
its just a universal dampener they take the time to see what they fit on and list them........ a kid i ride MX with run one of those on his quad....u can tell a major difference between crap and good....the thing that holds up my trunk would probably work better.
im gonna go out on a limb and say the stock dampener on a gixxer is better

Re: Wtf!!! Ebay dampners!
I would maybe use this thing to avoid tank slaps on a dirt bike in the trails, definitely not to bring my tail in the air at 70mph
You ever re-fill your damper with thicker fluid? **** is ******* MONEY! And good for your bike since it has one factory

If your avatar is any indication of your riding skills, I'm going to go on a limb and say you have no ******* clue how well that damper performs compared to a ohlins.

Re: Wtf!!! Ebay dampners!
this sounds like something i would say and you know damn well 99% of the time someones avatar is an accurate measurement of someones riding skills.
