I will take pics when I get home tonight on how I got mine braced just enough so that it still allows a little flex (so I dont break frame tabs) but its def strong enough that it is def not going to break ona foot in the bar circle lol

i have an si subframe! the fit well the tray that goes onto the subframe well i got to cut that thing all up to make it fit sumwhat right! then there is no way to hold the rear use box on so u have to rig sumthin to hold that in! its verry strong but heavy! u have to take the stock pip off and put sumthin lighter on to take a lil wait off it! other then that its all good now im just worried bout snapin the ears off the frame! still have to be carefull but so far so good

Re: SI steel subframe for 05 636

I ordered and installed one for my team mate, and the biggest problem was the 2+ months we had to wait for it Then when it arrived, it looked crooked right out of the box, and we didnt think it would fit at all....Alot of trimming had to be done to the battery box, and the seats and tail dont fit properly...And the way they added threads is garbage, they used some kind of threaded insert welded on...And most of them broke off already....They should use rivit on threaded inserts

So overall its not the best quality, fit and finish. Takes alot of work to make it fit, but after spending 2-3 hours making it fit. It works pretty good....
