lol go for it man! Its really not that difficult to build-I had to do some minor trimming here and there on the subframe and on the battery box, but the battery box drops right out easy because it is not connected to the box under the rider seat.
I think the funniest thing is my passenger seat actually latches in on the first try now so I don't have to karate chop it 13 times to get it to latch on like before.

Oh yea, circled in red are the spots where my subframe cracked all the way through. I patched the crack on the right side of the pic with a strip of steel. If your subframe isn't cracked there, you won't need that patch. I kind of had no choice lol.

Damn wished I would have taken pics of mine before it was sold but I put steel bracing across all the weak points. Tig welded where it cracked and made more bracing across the whole thing. I used rivets instead of nuts and bolts for the holes though so you didnt have to drill all the way through.

400$ is a good price for a steel custom sub frame the time put in and fab time is ridiculous at least for me. i no sick has all the nice machinery and man power to get them done faster but 400$ is still a good price.
