Re: help me with my circles
I can do staggered and ss all day, but not foot drag. LOL.
Just come in on idle and keep it high. If your high siding your not keeping it high enough. Oh and gas sooner. Your gonna be gas/braking it untill you get the technique down. keep practing, as most say, "one day it'll just click."

Re: help me with my circles
spiral was the best way to describe it cause it aint a true o. it spirals down until i am trying to turn so tight that it falls in or i highside. and if i try to make the circle bigger i almost always high side. im on idle. the reason i said the post comment was because a bs thread will get 3 pages in 30 minutes but someone actually using this sight for its purpose gets 3 responses in 5 hours

Re: help me with my circles
Need to get of idle.
Gas it instead of hitting the brake. Most of the time gas will correct your mistakes.
The brake will only make your high side worse.
Plus it;s alot easier to hop off the back and save it from a little too much gas then to try to pick out your landing mid-flight from a nasty high side.
As said many imes before.....

Re: help me with my circles
I'm personally more of a idle ***** for tight circles
when I kick my idle down, I Get to chopping the throtlte and seem to high side a lot more often
edit: are you doing this on a dirt bike or a street bike?
On a dirt bike, I personally never even used idle lol... I just did all throttle for circles

Re: help me with my circles
I run 60t also, I run my idle around 3200
It takes a lot to get over wanting to "lean" your bike in.. It's a weird feeling at first, and thats the hardest part to overcome.. You always feel like your leaning too far in so you lean out and highside
this is me with around 3500 idle I think

Re: help me with my circles
my mom caught me doin *** drags. know she stays up crying at night.
I cant circle (dont hate on me me for posting) but i was watching a guy learn with his footdown it seemed like he was trying to keep his foot planted more then letting it drag and it caused him to get really tight til he lost it....

Re: help me with my circles
Idle is good as long as youre not having to hit the brake to slow the bike down from cruising idle speed.
Try to picture your idle speed during your circle as "Nuteral"
Then gas / brake accordingly to keep it there.

Re: help me with my circles
That's about how fast idle is unless your really behind in idle to slow it down. I think i know what your talking about "spiraling" like you turn in and it's just does 180 on the way down? It took me awhile to get staggards down. I had circle combos before i had more than 1 staggard circle.. I figured out exactly how you turn it in.
1. Get on Idle
2. Keep left leg straight
3. when your ready to dip in brin git little further back on idle , look into the circle(if you look at your tire I gurantee you'll never turn), bend your right leg .. the bike will turn..
4, then you just want to keep the front end high so blip the gas . if the bike feels like it's getting away from you pull it back towards your body.
I tried to learn circles on idle only .. You'll take forever to learn.. I **** you not I went from doing 1 circle 2 if I was lucky everytime to consistant 8 in a row in 3 sessions.. It does one day just click. I got pissed and I started using the gas. My first circles was actually 2 fast wide ones.. then I did five in a row.. Next session I could do 3 everytime and hit 8 in a row. by the 4 session after I had them on lock for the most part.
