Slow wheelies locked, what's next question
Hey guys, thanks to all your help a little while back I got the slow wheelies down. I can get down to about 18-20mph with my 1st gear's and down down to 30mph from 60 in second gear.
For my 1st gear slow wheelies should I work on one handers? if so whats the trick, just let go and throw my left hand in the air?
or should I start next with putting by left foot on the seat instead of the back peg?
Lastly when am I ready to try circles?
Thx Carl.

Re: Slow wheelies locked, what's next question
I am at idle at about 3k rpm's since I not only stunt but I DO twisties and commute and other universal riding so I am not sure if I can catch it at that low of an idle. Is it only possible to do other tricks if you ride idle?
What should my idle be at as I would rather leave it where it is since I get asked every now and then why my idle is so high as it is?
Let me know thx~

Re: Slow wheelies locked, what's next question
idle around 3-3,500
Learn idle so you can learn to control the brake better. Forget about 1 handers until you can ride on idle only
Just keep practicing idle tell your going across the lot without having to hit the throttle, then you can work on getting comfortable with pulling your hands of
Also it wont hurt to attempt other tricks, SS's, spreaders, and hc's
and you don't leave your idle turned up all the time.. only turn it up when you want to ride a idle wheelie!
No reason to have idle up on the streets, in twisties, or for highway wheelies.. Leave it stock for all that
edit: sorry but Im just sitting here laughing thinking about how stupid you look sitting at a stop light with your bike running at 3k lol.. Everyone probably thinks somethings wrong with it lol

HAHAHA yea that bitch is gonna explode. lmao. But im in the same situation I can catch idle and ride with no throttle but i dont have a hand brake so im limited on what I can try it is just starting to get old just doin the same staggard idles I dont know what to do the spot we have is a new church that lets us ride there so I dont want to mark there **** up, and us not be able to ride there anymore. So im also a little intersted in what to do next.

yEA IT kinda sucks cause I have a 05 GSXR 600 and to change the idle up and down is tough where I have to use a tool like a screw driver cause I can't adjust it with my fingers only so its easier to just leave it that way..
But yea I do get crazy looks every now and then~!

If you know anyone that welds, you can take the screw out, and have them CARFULLY weld a idle cable to the end of the screw.. That way you could turn it easily
I seen it done on a 50
