Re: Xr80 stunt sprocket?

stock sprocket is all you need

Dirt bikes are geared so low you don't need to re-gear. That 80 probably does about 12mph in 1st, whereas a sport bike does 75mph+ in 1st

Is the xr80 the same as cr80f? If so, then use vortex

Re: Xr80 stunt sprocket?

dude like i was saying in the other thread. stock should be more than enough. regearing might make the throttle over senstive making in harder to learn. plus you have to remember the rear brake is DRUM not disc. regearing the bike can cause the bike to have so much torque that is completely over powers the rear break. beasicly meaning no matter how hard to step on the rear brake..your still gonna go over! yes you can convert to disc brakes to solve this problem! but you'll run into the over senstive problem again, now your gas and rear brake will but too senstive making it really hard to get used to, plus your gonna have to drop some serious coin for a rear disc set-up. or you can just leave it stock and learn from there..BEFORE you start spending $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on parts try put in seat time on a stock bike, you'll be suprised how much you can do after you pratice.

but if you really insist on buying parts.. check out 50stunt.. he has parts for the xr80, it's just not listed on the site. you have to call..

hope you have fun on the 80..i know i did!
