06 k6 Idle screw question. NEED ANSWER!!

Ok you know how the stock idle adjustment on the f4i's adjust air/fuel ratio?

Does the stock adjustment for the 06 gixxer 6 do the same? or does the stock adjustment actually open the butterfly's.

I have mine at like 3500 and the bike seems much less powerful, just like an f4i would. But someone told me that the idle screw on the gixxer was the same as twisting the throttle, I said no...but now I'm kinda second guessing myself.

Turning idle screw on gixxer is like turning throttle

I hooked up an 8 inch long piece of hose to my idle screw and it does crack open the butterfly valves to crank up the idle.

Re: 06 k6 Idle screw question. NEED ANSWER!!

the stock screw on the idle adjust hits the stop that pushes open the throttle bodies and right where the throttle cable is connected to, so if youve adjusted your idle on it i dont know how you could mistake it. the f4i/600rr goes into a wax unit. i used an 03-05 r6 idle cable on my gsxr.
