Re: selling bike have stupid question
the guy i bought the stunt bike off of let me take the bike for a ride, but i had a bike for over 2 years. if you really think about it and feel the person out ( not trying to be sick or gay, you perverts) you can tell if that person has no idea what the **** they are talking about. if it was me i would be really iffy to let someone test drive unless they have prove they have some experience

i had a buddie that got in that pickle. let his friend take his bike for a ride the kid crashed the bike and let him stuck fixing his own bike and not paying a nickle for repairs.

Re: selling bike have stupid question
Make sure he leaves something of value. Hold either his cash, or his drivers license PLUS the keys to whatever vehicle he drove there, and make him sign a "contract" that if he crashes/damages the bike he has to give you the cash or vehicle he drove in on OR repair the bike. Worst case scenario is you end up trading a wrecked bike for a car/truck.
My 2 cents, and like DirtyJeff said, there are a lot of good people out there who just want to make sure the bike is in good condition, and aren't trying to rip you off.

Screw that....cash in hand, take it for a test drive.....but I ain't got all day.....maybe bring it down to this shop and have him test drive from there.....but geebus it's a used bike a test drive should be sufficient!!
