Re: Bull ****.

They should replace the material and pay you to redo the job. I had a similar situation a couple years back and the PPG rep came out to verify that it was there fault. Then I had to give him an estimate on what it would cost to strip and redo everything. They gave me all the materials and paid me to redo the job. The local PPG reps have always taken care of me. Hopefully it works out for you.

Ya that $360 is only the material cost not my labor. It is the ppg dealers fault. How do I get In contact with a rep?

Re: Bull ****.

Call the PPG dealer and tell them that you need to talk to the local PPG rep. They should give you his number. If you can't get this solved send me a PM with the name of the dealer and what city it is in. I know a ton of guys at PPG so maybe I can help.

Re: Bull ****.

I know how it is. Paint work can be really frustrating when **** like this happens. Nobody understands how much work is involved and then what a pain in the *** it is to strip and redo everything.

Re: Bull ****.

Clear shouldnt be reduced more than like 5-10% max. Are you referring to the hardener?

I dont spray PPG but if it shrinks its definitely too hot or too wet.
