TTR Handbrake question

So I got a hb set up on my TTR thanks to Sketchy. Ive gotten it put on my bike in a very similar way as what was posted in the other topic below..

https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/13-...my-ttr125.html

My problem now is that it takes too much force to pull the brake enough. When just riding, if I grab the brake with two fingers hard I can lock the back end up but while riding a wheelie I cannot grab the brake hard enough with one finger for me to be able to use it. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get the brake to grab harder? Ive already adjusted the spring by the drum which adjusts the tension, and the lever which adjusts the tension in the brake line. Thanks.

Re: TTR Handbrake question

Extend the arm where the hand brake cable attaches so its longer, that'll give you more braking force.

But skill will also do the same thing.. Learn without a hand brake, then when you use a hand brake, you won't need tons of force

these 1 piston bikes have soo much engine brake and such little power there is no need for a hand brake unless your wanting to scrape tail or somthing off peg

no hand brake on my friends 100

no hand brake on the 150
