The best up and coming cage design?
I had good experiences with my SI but I had the old version, and couldn't get it off -- it was so mangled up we had to use a saw just to get it off. So as much as I'd like to stay with them I'm not going through that again....
I'm not on here much anymore but I notice the two up and coming are Impaktech and Atowncustoms? Anyone running these? and can you run it with the sides on? How's it holding up?

You can run FF with Atown, and I didn't even know that Impaktech made a cage for the f4i BUT with the gsxr and R6 I know you can run FF.
Also Atown's cage is really nice!

What about side clearances? I can still get pretty low in the corners with my SI and I liked that.... Sorry for so many questions, just trying to make the best decision I can on which cage to replace my SI.... I loved it but that thing was mangled up cracking all over and ****. blah!

SI is a nice cage, but it sucks taking it on and off!

I'd get one from that Cobwebs guy....he seems like a real winner
Honestly, I'd get one from ATOWN, seems like a great cage and an even better guy. Hard to go wrong with that combo.

Re: The best up and coming cage design?
ive been running SI for the last 3 years on all my bikes and as amazing of a cage they are, Atowncustoms cage is better and for the same price. **** tygershark, its a burly cage but i dont give a **** what kind of warranty you put on it there is no way its worth 350 dollars BEFORE shipping. i mean if you buy one pay 370 dollars and **** it up and have to ship it to have it warranted, you then gotta pay another 40 dollars or so in shipping fees to get it fixed so by the time youre done you coulda just about bought 2 other cages
