Machine f4i wheel for 929 frontend
I know you need to machine the bearing pocket to accept the 929 bearings, anyone know specs, buddies dad work at a machine shop and can do this but need to know specs and exactly what to do..Any info would be great Figure an f4i wheel would be eaiser to get my hands on than a 929 wheel

I had my wheel machined to fit the RC51 bearings which are the same as 929. I Just took the bearings to the machinest and had him machine the wheel to press fit the bearing. You also need the spacers for the 929 axles. I had to take like 2mm off the center spacer so the bearings would press all the way in.

Cool, yeah I have the whole 929 front (wheel and all now) and figured it may be eaiser to come across an f4i wheel rather than a 929 wheel so needed to know exactly what to have done...still depends on what wheel I find and how much

We've been doing that mod for years, the cost includes return shipping. For those that were wondering, if you have 929 or 954 front end it's a lot easier to find an F4/F4i wheel than it is to find the original.
