Question Stomp grip??????

I was thinking of getting stomp grip for my tank, but I think its a bit pricey for what it is. I don't want to you skate board grip tape that sh*t tears up the jeans. What does everyone use other then those 2? Or is stomp grip really worth it?

Re: Stomp grip??????

if you heat your tank and stomp grip it works great... otherwise use surfers grip.

I need at least a full sheet. I want to do the tray and rails. The chin pad will be covered in vinyl. I've got a big parts wanted thread going on there right now. Maybe I'll throw turf on the list.

i did that to my RR back in 06 and put pics up here but i dont think i was the originator. **** in the can sucks anyway. if youre gonna go that route just take your tank to a rhino liner place and let them put the good **** that actually has some grip on there.

i only use stomp pads for snowboards from Burton now. they are only $12, have adhesive from hell that you can spill gas all over and it still sticks, and the spikes provide excelent grip but you cant feel them through jeans. i just cut that ridge in the middle out and then lay each half on the tank side by side.
