04 636 Sick Cage Fairing Hole...
Do you need to drill a hole in the side fairings of the 04 636 for the bottom mount on the new sick cages?
If so could anyone show me a pic and or measure where the hole has to be located so I can make the holes... I am still waiting on the cage but the bike will be getting painted before I get the cage most likely...

I can take pics and send them ,like tommorow night man. I used a sawzall on my plastics for the lower part of the cage...it came out kinda shitty..I realized after that I didnt have to cut as much as I did....Oh well. They are only plastics.

I think all that was redesigned was how it bolts together not the style of cage. one side of cage has threads in it to connect instead of using a long bolt and a nut.

Re: 04 636 Sick Cage Fairing Hole...
This is the easy way to get the holes cut perfect.
1. Put the bike on a rear stand.
2. Pull you side fairings.
3. Bolt up your cage.
4. Use a laser level or pointer and get it lined up with the cage bolt.
5. Pull the cage off.
6. Put the side fairings back on.
7. The laser marks where you need to drill your holes.
8. Use a hole saw and drill the proper size hole for your cage.
9. Put everything back together.
