98 gsxr 600 turns over but doesnt start
buddy bought a crashed 98 gsxr 600 with no fairings in the front, There was a paperclip in one of the harness connectors up front, when i remove it, it wont turn over at all, plug that back in and turns over..
Check light is always on and turns over but wont fire. IS there a tip over sensor in it like a f4i?
I couldnt find any info on it and would appreciate what wires need to be jumped.

Re: 98 gsxr 600 turns over but doesnt start
I'm pretty sure there is a tip over sensor (that bike is fuel injected right?)
Except I don't think you can splice the tip sensors on gsxr's, I believe you gotta pull them apart and fill them with glue or somthing..

Re: 98 gsxr 600 turns over but doesnt start
i dont have any of the front end stuff, no headlight or stuff that was in front fairing..
I have Spark and it started for a second without the tank on, Took fuel pump out and doesnt work, cleaned it and pump doesnt work, checked plug for it and its a 4 wire and i have no power to any of the pins.
SO there is something in the front wiring that is not connected so pump doesnt have power. The paperclip that is jumped makes it crank, has great spark and did fire for a few seconds of carb cleaner but i need to find what makes or needs to be completed for the pump to come on when i get a new one.
Thats the update, keep me informed on if there is anything you guys know about the wiring on these carbed 600's
