Re: Coaster stoppies ?

seems it would be pretty easy just to roll ur thumb on the throttle while ur rollin it out.... coasters take brake control... coaster stoppies would be just rollin a stoppie revvin it up, right?

I think he meant, get the stoppie up to BP and then let off the front brake completely and just balancing out the stoppie.....

Re: Coaster stoppies ?

i think what he ment was both.....

1) no engine noise and no brake(brake helps when its falln, as everyone knows, but try going the diiiissssttttaaaannnnccceee without the bake) that would be hard and would take some great balance....bill d, rowdy, jesse, mitch, to name a few, that would be to watch

2) or bouncing off the rev limitor while in a stoppies...never really seen much of that now of days, but ive seen it done, back when everyone did it to go into burnout...so yea its been done but not for long distance i dont think

agree a little, but i think it would be sweet to see someone like bill d do one for a 1000ft while bouncing off it...

Re: Coaster stoppies ?

rev limiter during a stoppie is about the worst thing you can do to your motor, especially if you have a stuntex pickup

technically, yes. im talkin about redlining it tho.
seems like itd be p r e T T y hard to let off the front brake long enough and with enough control to open the throttle enough to redline it and pull off a LOUD ****** stoppie. i mean anything is possible but that sounds like itd be close to impossible. to carry a stoppie without the brake...and the throttle completely open, bike screamin and everything...i dunno just threw my idea out there
