Re: Coaster stoppies ?

If I can find it from my video of Stuntwars '05 somebody ( I think JB ) was gapping the throttle over and over - no brake while rollin a balanced stoppie.

Re: Coaster stoppies ?

Get a thumb throttle or just redline before you pull the stoppie up. I dont think that anyone can do bp stoppies for very long. Sometimes Ill go a little to steep and let off the brake for about ten feet. Street bikes are so heavy that shifting your body weight doesnt do much like if your rollin on a Bmx. Ive thought about letting out the clutch when Im rollin and trying to rev it up if I start to go over Bp.

Re: Coaster stoppies ?

When I think stoppie coaster, I think no front brake rolling. I saw a vid a long time ago, cant remember who it was, doing it for a couple feet.

Rolling a stoppie with the throttle pinned IMO is NOT a Stoppie Coaster.... it's just gay.

normally the oil pickup is at the bottom of the oil pan. when you do a stoppie, all the oil goes to the front of the motor instead of the bottom. Having a stuntex pickup makes that even worse because it moves the pickup to the rear of the oil pan. Oil starvation + high rpm's = guess what?
