new stunter-chick!
Hey everyone, I just stumbled across this site while searching for a new bike. I'm relatively new to riding (2 years) and have never even attempted anything drastic on a bike. I have a stong background with 4-wheelers and feel that I have reasonably good cycle control when riding. I have been seasoned on cruisers; first a Zuki Savage, now a Honda 650. Now I'm looking to buy a sport bike in the 550-700cc range for under $2500. I'm also 5'2'' 130lbs so I need a shorter bike (or one that won't be compensated too much by a lowering kit.) I was considering an SV650 or CBR600. Does anyone have any suggestions?? Also it had been mentioned to me that its much easier to learn the basic wheelies and bike balance on a dirtbike, then later utilize those skills on a motorcycle. If anyone has any advice or ideas for me, any and all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Re: new stunter-chick!
check out some of the stunt pieces in the bikes sold or wanted section. yea you can train your wheelies on the quads if yyou like to get comfy with the tippy feeling and using the rear foot brake to find balance point...so until you buy a rocket, just keep practicing on the 4 wheelers!

my bikes of preference are either a 636 or F4i, but any bike will do...it doesn't matter if ur a chick or not, your height or weight. don't lower it either that will just make it harder to wheelie. just ride a lot.

If not your *****, then at least a full body pic. We need to see the torso to leg ratio to help you adjust the bike to your body type. Think of it this way, you cant go to the doctor and not have him check out your body to set you up with the proper medication. We just want to make sure your bike gets setup right so you don't get hurt.

Re: new stunter-chick!
LMAO sorry guys, no boob shots, but I do promise to have some more flattering pics that are bike related up soon. In addition to working on cars and riding, I do some artistic gallery modeling on the side. Have a bike shoot scheduled for April. As for the fellow chick riders that have posted-ROCK ON!!! I can't wait to get a bike and equip it with some "oops I F-ed up" bars and finally get the chance to learn. This is something I've always wanted to do and I'm really excited. I'm highly considering getting some riding gear that offers a bit more protection than your average track suit. Any ideas??
