i found this browsing through craigslist. anybody know what the deal is with the extra letters in the reply to email? theres usually just the sale-##########@craigslist.com but this has sale-cheus-##########@craigslist.com. ive been noticing it lately and im not getting reponses with ads i place or when trying to get in contact with other sellers. are my ads getting ghosted or whats the deal? is it the same on your end?

new thing they are doing on craigslist. i think just sales-11121212 (numbers) they have used them all so they need more letters/codes to use to post. its normal

yeah i noticed it, I don't get any replies if ppl do a direct reply by clickin on the craigslist ad and having it open an new email. They gotta copy the reply link and send me a message and i get it.

why would they need to put more letters in the ad when they get deleted after 7 days? so it has the extra letters on your ends?
