Re: f4i clutch question?
Also i'm 'pretty sure' the plates go in a SPECIFIC order..
You can't mix n match them (its not just fiber steel fiber steel) its like number 1 fiber, steel, number 2 fiber, steel..
if I remember right
Also teh way that crank case goes on, you gotta turn the clutch arm as you put it on

Re: f4i clutch question?
with an aftermarket clutch there is no 12345 plate like honda states. there is a front wich will only go on one way that has a larger whole in the center then you stack them the last one going it the grooves like you have in your picture. it looks correct but pictures aren't as good as being there then you have to turn the clutch arm as towliee said and it will pop on...my guess is you aren't turning and therfor it feels like it just won't fit.... my 2cents

o'yeah I have one time used a barnett and again there is no 12345 but the last plate I think had green on the end tabs designating it as the last plate...was a while ago but think it was green ink...

Re: f4i clutch question?
plates appear to be in order.
if you cant get the cover on its because of the linkage arm, it has to be turned out 90 degrees or so to clear the pin in the center of the clutch. if you force it, the pin will break.

Re: f4i clutch question?
i just wanted to say that thorpe hooked me up again. he accidentally gave me the wrong cover which is a mistake i would have even made(same part # but different covers) so i pm'd him and he refunded me all my money back and had me just keep the cover. i just wanted everyone to know he's a standup guy(no pun intended..lol). thanks again thorpe
