after lookin into that a little bit i said the hell with it. i think they wanted you to order stuff in bulk. i found another place that makes delrin parts by searching google. i made some cad files and sent them some with dimensions that are close. I'll let ya know when they get back to me

Re: Cheaper alternative than powers sliders?

heres what 2 companys got back to me with:

That $266.75 price is each. Any time qty’s are low, you are paying mostly for set up costs. As the qty goes up, the price goes down. That’s why I also quoted 5 pcs at $125.60 each to show how fast the price drops. This part in a qty of 100 would probably be around $10-$12 each.

Sincerely,

Thank you for the inquiry and for taking interest in M&P.

2 pcs: $75.52 each
15 pcs: $15.89 each

1 week lead time.

Re: Cheaper alternative than powers sliders?

yea, buying a micrometer and some stock ABS plastics and something ti resemble a lathe works wonders and lets you deal with the work yourself. i hate waiting for people to **** around saying they are making your parts. want it done, do it yourself....

sorry, got a little tempered there....got some issues getting parts myself at the moment

Re: Cheaper alternative than powers sliders?

It dont gotta look pretty its just gonna break anyway. Just cut it to the length you want it not to long and your good to go I would just shave off the sharp edge with a grinder or dremel
