stunting the 05 636

heres my set up i just got done yesterday 05 636 56th rear powers cage rear handbrake flipped clip ons ummm think thats it

now heres my ? i have been stunting off and on for a few years my last set up was a 954 60th rear handbrake dirtbars and so on. now with that bike i was riding pretty good and learning how to ride the lots,. high chairs spreaders ss and so on

but heres the thing i have not been stunting for 8 + months cause i sold the 954 just been doing some 2nd gear stand ups on my other 05 636 when i was out riding..

but i got my new 05 636 set up and took it out yesterday and couldn't do **** on it i was lucky if i had it in the air for 5 sec. i just didnt have a good feeling on this bike which is very weird cause i have been riding and doing wheelies on a 636 for a few years now.
so what the hell is up am i just being a ***** cause i have not been in the lot for a while or is the 636 a lil weird at first... idk im sure im just being a squid but figuerd i would see whats up.

im sure im going to catch a lot of **** for this post but i wanted to see what others have thought about the 05 636 at first

Re: stunting the 05 636

riding on the street with stock gear and hitting the lots on a geared bike is a little different , if i take off three days it takes me a bit to back in the game so 8 months is gonna mess with your head ...

i was on an 06 CBR1000RR for hwy **** and could do tons of ****... as soon as i got my 04 636 it was like back to squidsville. Been out on it a few times now and starting to get the hang of it...

Clutch it up harder and crank that idle up

Re: stunting the 05 636

from what i noticed about geared bikes and suck is every bike is differnt i rode a 02 f4i and was squiding it up at highway speeds because never had a lot to ride in and then i got my 03 636 and it was like a switch i can rock highway and stagards no problem but to this day i cant go back to that f4i everything feels completely wrong and my stagards still pull hard to the right
now i have also been told thats when you know your good is when you can get on any bike and you be the same on each bike doesnt matter what it is
