Re: 2005 zx-6rr

I ride an 04 and I like it. I have never been able to tell a real difference between my 6rr and any of my boys 636s.

They didnt make near as many 6rr's as they did 636s, so thats why you dont see them very often. As far as durability goes, it is the same frame/subframe/forks and such, so that is going to be the same as the 636.

Re: 2005 zx-6rr

All the stunt parts fit. The motor and ecu are different, so those parts cant be swapped between the two.

Re: 2005 zx-6rr

ZX6RR comes with AMA settings, close gear ratio trannsmisson. The rear suspension also differs from the 636 , you can set the dampering for low and high speeds. Mouting braket for the side stabilzer. 36cc less, and I believe slipper clutch.

Different bikes but for most part they are pretty much the same. I couldn't tell the difference between my 03-04 636 and 03 zx6rr when I had one.

Re: 2005 zx-6rr

dude, i highly doubt youll be able to tell the difference. they are pretty much the same bike. just about everything is interchangeable and you could always swap over to a 636 motor if your that unhappy with it. ive got an 03 636 and wouldnt mind having on 05 636 but for that price i wouldnt even think twice about getting the zx6rr. it almost seems like a no brainer to me. get it man. also, im pretty sure the zx6rr only came in green.
