They still pop off sometimes...

Re: Ever have a shoelace tie you down at a standstill?

Never have got my shoe lace caught but one time I was lubing my chain in a friends garage. Had the bike up on stands with engine running and the bike in second or third gear. Got a little excessive with the chain lube, grabbed a rag to soak up the excess and the rag got caught in the rear sprocket, next thing I know is it cut the end of my right thumb OFF!!! Yea that **** hurt, took out running like a scalded dog to my ex-wife's house screaming like a little girl and left the bike running in my friends garage. Took twenty years to be able to laugh about this ****..

Never a shoe lace but a pant leg a few times now...worst one was a tatered pair of jeans had the seam around the bottom hanging down got picked up by the top side of the chain and jerked it/me into the front sprocket. tore those jeans up and damn near my leg, good thing i was coming to an intersection and was slowing down, pulled in the clutch and coasted up onto the sidewalk and then proceeded to untangle myself from my bike for about 5 minutes. After i was done pulled out the pocket knife and chopped every loose thing off the bottom of the jeans.
Note to self no more heavily frayed jean bottoms again..
