636 no start PUZZLED

Alright so heres my problem. I had a 03 zx6rr with a power commander and ignition module on it. well i got a 636 and wanted to transfer all that over. So i called dyno jet they said ya its cool it will work. So installed it and **** and fired the bike up and it ran like **** and igniton module would not turn on. If i reved the bike it would die as it came down in rpms. so i figured well maybe it just needs a tune for a 636 on it and not a 6rr. So i do all that just put a basic stock tune on it.. ****** just cranks and cranks and cranks. So i was like **** this i want to ride today. so i took the power commander and ignition module off and tried to start it and bam same thing. just cranks and cranks and cranks. so i take my tank off put it on my rr and make sure its all workin. well it was workin fired that bike up..so i siad ok well i will check spark..checked spark its gettin that also. so then i checked plugs..they were good and also brand new since just replaced them last month. So heres my ? WTF is wrong with it lol. I just want to ride. someone has to know wats up with it. thanks alot guys

Re: 636 no start PUZZLED

is your fuel pump plugged in? I ask because I have done it before. Also the 636 and zx6rr power commanders ARE different.

On the ignition module, doesnt a wire tap into the crank posistioning sensor? If something goes wrong with that sensor or grounds out, the motor wont start.

Re: 636 no start PUZZLED

he's saying that if you left that cps sensor wire exposed and it's touching anything on the bike (pretty much every exposed piece of metal is ground) the bike won't start.

Re: 636 no start PUZZLED

Take the plugs out and let them dry and leave them out awhile. Sounds like you have a bunch of gas in the cylinders.
