Cutting the tabs on stock clipons help?

Did a lot of research yesterday in regards the the best route for me to go; i.e DB's, converti, clipons switched and fliped ect. I had decided to just cut the tabs on the stockers, push them foward and start from there. Only problem is while I was looking everything over when my bars are locked out in either direction (left/right) there is very, very little room to work with as far as pushing the bars forward with out hitting the front faring. I would like to stay full faring for the moment, as well as refrain from cutting if I can. Anybody have any helpful info. It would be appreciated! Bike is 04CBR600RR.

Thanks!

Give me just a little more time and you can use THORPE bars and keep your fairing.

ask about the 0 degree clip ons, dont waste your time, i run clip ons with a cut down upper, better than dirtbike bars

Re: Cutting the tabs on stock clipons help?

depends on your preference / riding style.

0 degree is the way to go... FI makes em too...

but yes, you will have to cut or notch your upper for full range of motion.
