whats everybody use on their tank dent for grip?

ive used spray-on bedliner in a can from duplicolor the past couple of times but i wanna go with something different this time(rattle canned my bike last weekend). maybe something rubber or foam. no grip tape, rips up your pants too bad. armenian gave me a pretty cool lil pad but it doesnt stay stuck. so let me know what you use and where to find it.

Howd you like the bedliner I wanted to do that but I heard it gets all fucked up if gas gets on it. Every time I put gas in my bike theres always little splashes that get on the tank.

its ok. it doesnt really peel away or anything its just not that grippy. i used several coats though. if a place like rhino liner did it then it would have enough grip but that **** out of the can is almost as slick as the spray paint.

So it didnt get all mushy or runny from any gas leakage I heard if you bring it to get it done by linex or rhino or whateva that its only like $40.

Was wondering if anyone has tried using stomp pads for snowboards? I was thinking about it and if they can stick through snow I think they would stick to the tank, and they are cheap as hell ($4) so replacing them if they did fall off would not be bad at all.

i never really got much gas on my old dents. a few times but nothing to mess up the bedliner. this tank now, i cant put gas in it without getting it all over ****. i even bought a nifty lil gas can but it doesnt prevent my stupidness. there is a rhino liner place like two blocks from my work. i might just go up there and have them do it. i have some dealership brand **** in my truck now and its not very grippy, my pops has the Rhino brand and its way diff.

i've spilt gas diesel and battery acid in the bed of my truck rhino lined and it doesn't peel.......but on my tank i used rubberized undercoating for wheel wells on trucks....works good and doesn't rip up my pants...plus you can get spray can of it for like 5 bucks ... and i think you can get rhino lining in a spray can too now

ck out a surf shop for the pads they use for your rear foot. it has a little raised ledge on the back. my friend uses one and really likes it, he has no problem coming off the tank with it.
