I have 3/4 fairing with an acerbis. When you drop your **** alot like I do no need to put the upper through the abuse.

Re: Full fairing or streetfighter

FF looks real good, but might take away from a couple of tricks, ie tank combos, tank circles, If your working or learning any circles i wouldn't sport it, even though the overall look is cleaner, your bound to drop it then find yourself with a bowl of fiberglass resin and a paint brush. After that you'll be up all night on ebay trying to bid on a new stay and a used or new upper...by no means a cheap part to buy when you don't really need to.

Re: Full fairing or streetfighter

I went streetfighter because noone makes a cage for my bike. It was easier for me to weld one up without the fairing there.

i made a stay for my F4i and never have a problem hitting any thing. i keep hearing all these horror stories about this . I would make them and sell them for a cheep price but i dont run a head light. so if i made them you would not be able to use a headlight ether

Re: Full fairing or streetfighter

i dont know why ppl say "dont rock ff if ur learning ****" or whatever. ive never broken an upper on any bike ive ever had....i even flipped a stoppie with my r6 at about 30mph and it only made 2 little cracks in the middle that you couldnt see. the only thing u gotta worry about is the fairing stays like to snap, but thats why they make aftermarket ones.....
