Dirt Bar fork adjustments?

I recently put Tag bars on my ZX6 and was wondering to all those who have made the conversion if you're leaving the forks at the stock height with longer brake lines or if you adjusted the Forks at all the change the bar height..
Thanks

Re: Dirt Bar fork adjustments?

I would leave em stock height. I just went with tag bars on my f4i and I also ordered some longer lines

yeah same here...was leaning toward leaving them at stock height..but just put the hohey tripple, risers, and tag bars on...measured front brakes and it was like 37 and 39" brake lines...seemed long...havent gotten them yet, guess we'll see. WHat lengths did u get?

I got longer (dont remember the length) SS Russel Lines. its a close one but it worked out perfect for me... Not the best of pictures... i would normally go take pics for you upclose but my bike is in the shop... electrical problems... and of course... teh week before bike week hope they help a little, lol

Re: Dirt Bar fork adjustments?

You need a 30in and a 32in line for the 636, have done it twice already to get the perfect length, if you want to run the splitter line setup like stock the setup is then you need a 28in and a 30in line, but i like the super bike setup with both lines coming of the master, you get more even pressure.
